Kangsheng developed KiriSense’s core tactile sensing architecture and leads the company’s technology and IP development. He also leads KiriSense’s Royce-supported research collaboration with the University of Sheffield. His role connects tactile sensing research, mechanical and optical architecture, and the transition from an underlying sensing principle to a characterisable robotic technology.

Brings more than 25 years of deep-tech company building, technology commercialisation and strategic advisory work. He founded Cientifica, co-founded NanoSight through its successful exit, and leads KiriSense’s commercial strategy, partnerships, fundraising and route to market.
